Mr Jean-François Rey, the creative figure behind JF Rey eyewear is known as one of the greatest French designers of top end eyeglass frames. He is inventive with his designs, shapes and materials. Handcrafted in the south of France these frames allow the wearer to be both distinctive in their look and express their individuality. The Queen of Specs JF Rey collection has been created over many years making some of our pieces hard to find elsewhere.
These new, JF Rey glasses frames have a stylish square frame shape with angular detail across the brow line. Handmade in a combination of gold coloured flecked brown acetate and a black acetate along the brow line that sit on a frame of aluminium. This interesting structure comes into its own when seen through the cross section. The aluminium temple shoulders and slim acetate temples design demonstrate the signature design of JF Rey.
